Captain Matthews resumed his flight at 6 o'clock yesterday morning, and at 12.45 p.m. reached the flying ground at Grokgak, near Singgardja., in the Island of Boli. After reconnoitring, he attempted to land, but the motor' refused to act, and Matthew.s lost control of the machine, which crashed, in a banana garden adjoining the flying ground. The aeroplane was destroyed, and Sergeant Kay had some ribs badly damaged, Further flight has been abandoned.
