SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
The ladies of the Kelburn branch of tho W.N.R., under Mrs. Buxton, gave an entertainment on Thursday at the Sailors' Friend Society. The performers were:— Mesdames Buxton, M'Nain. Hillycr, and the Misses Buxton, Anson, Earlc, Seddon, Hillyer, and Messrs.' Moss, Payne, Wyatt, Ross. Mrs. M'Nain, the Misses Earle and' Buxton were at the piano. Light refreshments were dispensed to the guests by the branch. Mr. Moore, missioner, was in the chair,, and led the competitions. The prizes,, which were presented by Miss Buxton, went to the Port Napier and -Waikawa.
