The authorities have decided to confiscate one-quarter only of the gold found on the Hindus from Fiji.

[Sovereigns and gold jewellery valued at £900 were found in the possession of five Indians from Fiji, who were attempting to .leave Ati.itra.lia. The gold represented fivo years' savings on the plantations.]
