LODGE MEETING

The Poneke Lodge No. 21 (U.A.0.D.), held its fortnightly meeting at Petone this week, the A.D. Bro. Williamson, presiding. A large amount of correspondence was dealt with. A letter was received from the Royal Arch Chapter, notifying the lodge of the ritual competition taking place in April. The Bards reported seven brothers' on the sick list, and Bro. Price reported having attended the Pacific Lodge at a reunion of soldier brothers. Bro. Gqugh notified the lodge that the new motor ambulance was now in commission, and was the best in New Zealand. At night it could be called from Bro. Gongh's house, 20, Elizabeth-street, or Mr. Silbery's, 44. Queen-street. Visitors attending were P.A. Bro. Smith (Shannon Lodge, Victoria), : P.A. Bro. Gobls (Oroua), P.A. Bro. Rodger and P.A. Bro. Manning (Star of New Zealand).
