SUPPORT FROM ■ WANGANUI.. (BJ TELMIUPH.—SPECIAL TO THE POST.) ■ WANGANUI, This Day. The Wanganui Centre of the N.Z.A.S. A. held, a meeting last night, to consider the question of sending, swimming representatives to the Olympia games. The general opinion expressed was that Paterson, of Wellington, should have been chosen, and that there was abso-\ lutely no reason for the selection of Miss" G. Shand, of Christchurch. Eventually a sub-committee was set up _to deal with the question of organising financial schemes to. assist the council in getting a team away.
