ESTABLISHMENT OF HALF-A-

MILLION.

(Received March 22, 1 p.m.)

LONDON, 20th March. The Army Estimates for 1920-21, which are to be considered by the House of Commons on 22nd March, have been issued. They show,a total of 125 millions, as compared .with 405 millions.in, the 1919-20 Estimates. The men on the establishment, exclusive of India, will be 525,000, as compared with 186,000 in 1914-15, and 2,600,000 in 1919-20. The establishment of 525,000 is expected to fall during the year to about 280,000.
