The Home-grown Sugar CompanyLimited, with a million £1 shares, has been formed under arrangement with the Board of Agriculture, to establish th« sugar beet industry as an all-British enterprise. The Government will take up a quarter of a million shares and will also guarantee 5 per. cent, interest until 19aO on public subscriptions up to a quarter of. a million. The company will take over th& British Sugar Beet Growers' , Society. . ■
