♦ THE PORT NICHOLSON YACHT CLIJB. ■ The Port Nicholson Yacht Club's fixture for to-morrow is the Ladies' Race. Great interest is being shown in this as there are quite a number of skilled helmswomen who arc members of the club. The following yachts have entered :—Waitangi, Ailsa, Epna, Atalanta, Galatea, lolanthe, Mini, Warehou.. The club course from Clyde-quay "Wharf to Jerningham buoy, Ngahauranga, Clyde-quay, ; Jemingham buoy arid back to', starting line will be sailed. . The .Alexander Turnbull Memorial Cup race is to be sail- . ed on Saturday week, and. the club is makhig arrangements for a steamer to follow'the- yachts';' ■■■.'■> ..;
