Questioned to-day by a Post representative tho Prime Minister said, he had still received no definite, 'information from tho Imperial'authorities concerning the meat oommundss;'. This was no doubt due, he add-ed, toithe fact that ths former px-esideut of the Board of Trade (Sir Auckland Geddes) had ■ been appointed Ambassador to the United States of America, thus causing some ■disarrangement of the work of ths board.
