WELLINGTON PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRA
The twelfth annual meeting of the Wellington .Professional Orchestra was held at His Majesty's Theatre, Mr. Walter Fuller being in the chair. Thore was a. good, attendance of members, and all present displayed aji enthusiastic interest in tho season about to commence. The report and balance-sheet, which have alrfcady been summarised in out columns, were adopted. The 'election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, His Excellancy thi Governor-General; president, Mr. Justioe Hordmao;> vic^-presidents, Sir Robert Stout, Archbishop Redwood, Sir John Findlay, Hon. A. M. Myers, Messrs. TV M. Wilfard,- M.P., M. Myers, J. Craigie, M.P.,,R. M. Griffiths,' IV. Lnnis, Walter Fuller, sen., Henry Hayward, and E. A. W. Smith; conductor, Mr. H. Moschini; deputy-conductor, Mr. Walter Fuller;. secretary, Mr. George Nelson; treasurer, Mr. A. S. Hillikor; assistant secretary and librarian, Mr. A. A. Crump; auditors, Messrs. A. M'Donald and B. Hume; committee, Messrs.' Williams, Fuller, Lawrence, , Bowman, Rule.- Crump, Garry. It wae decided that the first concert be given in April.
