HEAVY RAIN PREDICTED

According to the official forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist to-day there is every prospect that heavy rain will be experienced shortly. Two disturbances are reported, one in the North and one in the South, and the two will possibly combine. The forecast is for dull and threatening conditions, which will be followed by rain, particularly in tha North. Snow is stated to be likely iv the South, and the barometer shows signs of falling still further.
