BOILERMAKERS' AWARD

An amendment to the Wellington district boilermakers' award has been made by the Arbitration Court. Overtime is to be paid for at the rate of time and a half foi the first three hours, and double time thereafter. Minimum rates of pay are fixed at Is 7^d per hour, together with a bonus of 3Jd per hour. Boilermakers working with acetone gas ar© to be paid Is a day extra.
