HAWKES BAY v WELLINGTON

The secretary of the Wellington Cricket Association has received advice that the Hawkes Bay representatives will arrive in Wellington on Thursday evening for the purpose of playing a match with the Wellington representatives this week. This wDI be the first occasion for some years on which this very interesting fixture will have beei played in Wellington. The names of the Wellington team have already been published. As it is expected that the Hawkes Bay side will be a strong one, a very good game should eventuate. Play will commence on the Basin Reserve at 2 p.m. on Friday.
