Whariti Hack Handicap, of 130 soys; 7 furlongs.—Otaura Kid, 6.7, 1; Hallowvonia, 7.3, 2; Esperance, 7.7, S. Scratched : Kilgour, Sweet Song. Won by a length and a-half. Time, lmin 28 4-ssec.
Maiden Plate, of 100 soys; six furlongs, weight-for-age.—Caricature, 1; Big Push, 2; Blissfulness, 3. Scratched : Grange, Mannikin, Grecian Girl, Lalla Rookh, Mountain Chief, Chrysostom, Celmisia, Fortune Teller. Won by four lengths. Time, lmin 15sec. Woodville Cup, of 500 soys;, seven furlongs.—Lovematch, 7.4, 1 ; Borealis, 6.11, 2: Multaine, 6.8, 3. Scratched: Impediment and Old Gold. Won by a head. Time, 2min lOsec.
