"DEEP MISGIVINGS"
EX-SERVICE MEN AI* TD THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS.
(FKOM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) . LOJfDOA T, 18th December.
The attitude of ex-service men towards th« League of Nations is strikingly illustrated in the^ terms of the following resolution passed at a recent meeting of the Comrades of the Great War: —
"l'hoss who have seen most of war are those who least wish to see it again. Comrades must recognise, however deep their misgivings, that the League of Nations is the ons hope of preventing war in future. They should, therefore, support the League of Nations Unions and give the proposals a fair trial, but let them never overlook the necessity for comrades being prepared, in case their services may be again requires, in defence of-the country for which they have sacrificed fio much."
