For having alighted from a tramcar whilo iv motion, a man named Edward Sullivan was to-day lined £1 by Mr. E. Page, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court. It appeared that Sullivan jumped off the car while it was travelling at a rats of ten miles an hour.- Another man attempted to board the car at the same moment, and tho two collided and fell on to the roadway. A motor-car was coming by at the time, and pulled up just in time to avert an accident.
