The president of the Athletic Union, discussing the prospects, said that the New Zealand representative at the recent conference stated that tho Dominion would probably send three competitors and finance them. Thfero would be no objection to these travelling with the Australian team, despite thefact tluil New Zealand was a.eepara-te nation so far as the games wefts' concorned.
