BRITANNIA THEATRE.
A splendid illustration of Mr. Arnold Bennett's popular novel "The' Grand Babylon Hotel" is being screened at the Britannia Theatre. The story has to .do with happenings at the Grand Babylon Hotel, which is the resort of royalty, and which,-owing to the whim of his daughter Nella, is bought by an American millionaire, Theodore Racksola. The plot thickens when the King of Royalty arrives bent on the marriage of his daughter Anna, whose hand is sought by more than one suitor. Things mova swiftly in the way of abductions > and would-be murders. Incidentally Nella is brought into the love theme, and it is this fact which helps largely to-solve the whole problem. The part of the princess is taken by Alma Taylor. Some great scen-ss of the London Embankment, the Thames, and its many bridges a.re shown.
