MASTERTON, This D»y. Fifty-one new members were elected at a meeting of the Masterton A. »nd P. Association on Saturday last. < The staff of the Muterton railway held its annual picnic at Willow Park Farm - on the Opaki. The weather was delightful, and a most enjoyable day was spent. The entries received for the Masterton A. and P. Association's Show this year number 2149, which is almost a record. The. horse and cattle entries are more numerous than ever before.
After a week of intensely hot weather, a fall, in the temperature occurred on Monday, and a welcome downpour o*——'freshened up the pastures.
