V.M.C.A. AT PANAMA CANAL
Gne of the most successful of the many ■activities o£ the New Zealand V.81.C.A. 'amongst the New Zealand troops overseas, has been the work undertaken for the benefit of returning New Zealand soldiers at the Panama Canal. Some eight ■months ago, the New Zealand V.M.C.A. became established at the Atlantic end of the canal, and a very extensive and greatly appreciated work has been carried out tor every troopship passing through the canal. The organisation of this work has Jbeen in the hands of Mr. V. H. French, a. young New Zealander, who has just re.turned by the Armagh. , Arrangements have been made for Mr. French to give an illustrated lecture on his experiences in in the canal zone at the V.M.C.A., Willisstreet, to-morrow night. Admission is tfree and tho public is invited.
