TEN MILLION LOAN
COMPULSORY SUBSCRIPTIONS.
In reply to an inquiry to-day, the Minister of Finance (Sir James Allen) stated, that the compulsory provisions were in operation in connection with subscriptions to the ten-million loan. Notices had been sent out, 'and the effect so far had been quite satisfactory. As has been stated previously, the Government 'is assured of obtaining the full amoiint of the loan. -
