SINN FEIN ON THE SCHEME
"BAYONETS WILL BE NECESSARY"
A FORECAST OF FRIGHTFULNESS. i
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRISMT.)
(PUBLISHED IN THE TIHES.)
LONDON, Bth January.
A Sinn Fein manifesto says: "Unless the .civilised nations intervene in 1920, the frigbtfulness will twice surpass that of 1919. Mr. Lloyd George will not dare to submit to the electors a Home Rule scheme dividing Ulster, and is therefore prepared to jam the scheme down the throats of the Irish with bayonets. We warn whom it may concern that bayonets will be necessary."
