The popular dramatic artist, Miss Muriel Starr, is about to make another visit to Wellington. The. season will commence at the Grand Opera House on Saturday night next. She will have supporting, her an unusually powerful organisation of artists, -with Mr. Frank Harvey at the head. Also in the company are Misses Ethel Morrison, Marion Marcus Clarke. Bertha Ballenger.'Mollie Taylor, Beryl Bryant, Mattie Browne, Tessie Lester, Messrs. 4rtnur Styan. J. B. Atholwood, Harold Moran, Fred Coape, Frank Hatherley, Norman Lee, Frank Allanby, Victor Tatnall, and the producer, Mr. E. W. Morrison. The piece chosen for the opening production is the drama "The Man Who Came Back." This is not war play—the plot having nothing whatever to do with any incident of the late war. The "Coming Back" is the regeneration of a young and* foolish man, led by a good and beautiful woman._ It will be staged for the first five nights, and. will give way to "The Bird of Paradise." In "The Man Who Came Back" Muriel Starr will be seen as "Marcelle," a cabaret singer. According to contemporaries it is a part that calls for the highest type of dramatic acting. The box plans for the two productions will open at the Bristol next Thursday morning ,at 9 o'clock.
