COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS

The twenty-ninth annual meeting of the. Wellington Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association was held last night, Mr. O. W Rushbrook presiding. Tile report and balance-sheet, details of which have already been published, were adopted, the president and the outgoing committee being congratulated upon the year's working.

It was decided to close the war benefit fund, the credit balance • of which amounts tc over £1000.

On the suggestion cf Mr. Young, the committee decided to consider a proposal to hold, a-welcome for those members who have been on 'war service.

The following officers were elected :— President, Mr. M. Can.'; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. R. M. Brewer and P. J. Kinuiburgh; warehousemen's representatives on the committee, Messrs. M. J. Budd, T. Inglis, A. Jacobs, J. C. Tonics, A. B. Williams;-travellers' representatives on the committee, Messrs D. Bohan, J. Brodie, H. J. M'Duff, F. G. W«fllburton.j trustees, Messrs. W. Clayton, G. Pirie, T. W. Witt, W. J. Bridson; treasurer, Mr. S. Jacobs; auditors, Messrs. Rowley and M'Gill; solicitors, Messrs. Bell, Gully, Myers, mid O'Leary.
