The Democratic National Committee is meeting to a,rrange preliminaries for the Presidential nominations. It denounced the arrogancy of the Republicans and demanded that the Senate should cease its political manoeuvring. It, repudiated the suggestion that the United States joined' the Allies in order to, leave them in the lurch when peace and reconstruction were imperative.
