, WASHINGTON, 7th January. The Secretary of tho Navy, Mr. J. Daniels, announces that lie has received £6000 raised by popular subscription in Britain for the' 1 purpose of commemorating the Dover Patrol. The United States will use tho funds to erect a monolith in New York Harbour in honour of the American naval forces vvhp participated in the patrol work.
