TRAIN ACCIDENT
TWO CARRIAGES DERAILED,

GREYMOUTH, This Day. Owing to a derailment at the points of two carriages of the Rewanui train whilst shunting operations were proceeding at Greymouth station at 6.44 to-day, the Otira express has been considerably delayed. A breakdown gang is clearing the rails. The bruke v»n narrowly missed the signal station and crashed over, on its side after striking a- signal post heavily. The carriages following were thrown over the parallel set of rails. No one was injured.
