\ DEPASTURES. January S^Pateena (1.35 p.m.), 1212 tons, Sewell, for Picton and Nelson

TOFUA FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The R.JI.S. Tofua arrived at Wellington shortly after midnight from San Fmneisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga, and after being inspected by the Port Health Officer she was berthed at the Jervois-quay Wharf aboutj 11 o'clock. The Tofua left San Francisco on 12th December, and arrived at Papeete on 24th. December (Christmas Eve). Two days later the vessel continued her voyage to Rarotonga, which port was reached on 2Sth December. She left the same day for Wellington. Fine weather was experienced *>practicaly throughout the trip, which was without any untoward incident. The Tofua passed the R.M.S. Moana at sea, off Mauke, on 27th December, and the Talune was sighted at 1 a.ni. on the following day. Following are the salon passengers:—Misses Anderson, Fontaine, M. Goodger, E. C. Turner, T. C. French, M. Gardner, Stuart (3), I. Cormack. C. Cowan, A. Graham, and Smith (3), Mesdames Baquet, Bastide, B. Chaine, Galbraith, Goodger, Russel Grace, Hart, Hadfleld, Xawton, Jloisson, Millard. Huston, Nathan, Roberts, Rodwell, Sexton, Singer, Truscott, Toogood and son. Ollivier, Stanculeanu, Wilbern. Brown, Smith, Messrs. Bridge, Baquet, Bindouin, Bastide, Brunton, Chaine, Dempster, Engels, Fulton. French, -Grace, Humes, Hart, Hirseh, Moisson, Millard, Murdoch, Maclean, D. L. Nathan, Rodwell, M. J. Reardon, Scott, Savery, Simpson, Singer, Sheehy, S. Semple, A. E Smith, Thompson, Toogood.Taylor .Vidailhet, Wake, Pharo, Hayes, Matthews, Ollivier, Wilhern .Knight, Mills, and Smith ,and Captain A. A. W. Walden. There were also 31 steerage passengers. The cargo to land at Wellington amounts to 2604 tons, and includes So tons of Rarotongan fruit.
