EMPRESS THEATRE.
The brilliant comedy-drama, "A Bachelor's Wife," featuring Mary Miks Minter; also, episode four of Pathe's latest serial; "The Lightning Raider," will be finally screened at The Empress Theatre to-day. Commencing to-morrow Alice Joyce is featured in the drama, "That Winchester ;Woman,". described as a first-rate mystery story. Romance and intrigue mingle with mystery and excitement, and the plot is one that keeps one on tenterhooks from start to finish. In the title role Alice Joyce paints a telling picture showing how utterly false and wrong it is to judge by appearances alone. The fifth episode of Pathe's sensational serial, "The Lightning Raider," entitled "The Brass Key," and featuring Pearl Whit», is included in the programme. Pearl White's ■ success in this picture is great.
