WILLIAMSON GRAND OPERA OPENING POSTPONED
The J. C. Williamson, Ltd., management announces thai, owing to the shipping strike, which has, unfortunately delayed the departure of the s.s. Riverina it will bo impossible to commence the Wellington season of Grand Opera on Monday next. Intending patrons are i-e-' quested to watch the papers closely for opening date and rearrangement of season. The programme, as originally announced regarding sequence of operas, will be adhered to, and the present bookings will hold good for the nights specified from date' of opening. Seat holders, for dates missed through nonarrival of steamer may transfer to other suitable evenings on application to the box office, or have money returned
