WEEK-END WEATHER
■\ During the past few days, though the barometer has been about normal over the Dominion, there has been an extensive depression located to the westward.1 Since last evening the latter has come within more effective range, and cloudy, unsettled conditions have' overspread the country, with ram in many parts. Fogs have been very prevalent, nn'd moderate to strong northerly winds'' have, iiredominated. Locally a steady, light'rain, which fell between 2.30 and 7.30 a.m., amounted to 0.14 incht;3. The indications are for strong northerly winds, backing to soiitherlies everywhere after about twenty-four hours.
