Norman Boss, who is reputed to be the greatest swimmer in the world, is passing through to Sydney in the Niagara, which reached Auckland yesterday. Ross, who belongs to America, has been invited by the Australian Swimming Association to take part in some championship races. He will visit Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, and is. due back in New Zealand next March. He will then visit the cities and principal towns. Ross, who held a commission in the American Aviation Corps, won all the championships at the inter-Allied sports at Paris.
