It' is considered that Dr. Rentier's statement regarding Austria's food situation, has made it clear that-the'nation can only be rescued from the peril of starvation if America helps. The Council decided, among other measures, to despatch thirty thousand tons of cereals stored in Trieste to Austria. It is estimated that Austria needs a loan of 327 million sterling to enable the nation to resume work on' a proper basis.
