ANOTHER ASPIRANT

(Received-December 18, 1 p.m. )

WASHINGTON, 17th December.

The forces are beginning, to liven up for next year's. Presidential election. Senator Hiram Johns'fcoh has entered the' ring for the Republican nomination. Mr. E. Gerard, former United States Ambassador ill Germany, is almost certain to 'be the Democratic contestant. He has declared that he will not rnn if President Wilson comes out for a third term; but few people expect President Wilson's health to allow him to continue in politics.. The general impression is that he will _never resume a. strenuous life. A third party is likely to enter the contest under the title of Liberals.
