NEW YORK, 16th December. The New York 'Times correspondent at Mexico City states tfiat Mexico has sent a Note to the United States, poiniing out that Mexico is unable to admit that a citizen can, be released merely on the recommendation of the United States, but since Mr. Jenkins has already been released on bail it is thought that the* misunderstanding between Mexico and the United State's nas disappeared.
