INJUSTICE OF D 3 LIST.

(BI TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

DUNEDIN, 17th December. At a representative meeting of the Duliedin branch of the Railway Officers' Institute, the following resolution was adopted: "That after perusal and coiiwd oration of tha D 3 list for 1919, we express indignation at the injustice to the majority of members of the service shown therein and enter a strong protest, , and ask the executive to make urgent and strong representations to the Minister for Railways, and call upon him to withdraw the D 3 list as at present compiled and have it revised in terms of the agreement entered into the executive and the management on Ist April, 1919, and that all members be classified in accordance with the above-mentioned agreement; and that, although the management has committed a breach of the agreement entered into with the representatives of the institute, the executive Btill retains the confidence of this branch in their efforts on behalf of _ the members of the Railway Officers' Institute."
