According to the last mail, Moung Them, the editor of a new Burmese vernacular paper, "New Light of Burma," was fatally stabbed by a criminal, who; in 1908, hek) up a quarter of Rangoon before being captured by a strong force of police, und was sentenced to ten yean' imprisonment. Deceased was a vigorous 1 writer oa Burma's political problems.
