There has been K very heavy booking this week for the performance of "The •Messiah," to be' given by the Choral Union next Saturday evening in the Town Hall, under the conduetorship of Mr. H. Temple White. . A strong cast of soloists has been, engaged—viz., Miss Teresa, M'Enroc (soprano), Miss Mabellc L Esquiiant (contralto), Mr. Walter Whyto (tenor), and Mr. Frack C. Charles (bass). On this occasion, , for tha tot time for many years, the oratorio will be performed with a full orchestra. The box plan is at the Bristol.
