Variable breezes have prevailed northward of New Plymouthyand Napier, and moderate to strong northerlies and westerlies southwards. The weather has been warm and hazy generally, and the skies have clouded over in parts. Atmospheric pressure has been unsteady, though little change has taken place over the I Dominion since yesterday.

At 9 a.m. to-day the following forecast was „ned for the subsequent 24 hours:— Winds—Variable, but northerly prevailing soon and freshening northward of Kawhia and "Napier; westerly, strong to gale at times, elsewhere i Barometer—Unsteady, falling, tendency.
