MAORI ELECTIONS

Polling for the election of three Maori representatives is talcing place to-day, in the Northern, Western, and Southern Maori districts. The Hon. A. T. Ngata has been returned Unopposed for the Eastern Maori district, but in the other districts there are many candidates :in the Northern district, 15; Western, 11,- Southern, 4. The polls -lose at 4 p.m., and approximate returns will be announced to-morrow.
