(BT TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION ) MARTON, This Day. Brigadier-General __el_r_in, Liberal candidate for Rangitikci, spoke at Marton last evening. _ He received a good hearing. The candidate advocated money for workmen's ■ houses being obtained from the Savings Bank. He c&ntended that laud aggregation had not been stopped. Better provision should have been made lor putting returned soldiers on the land. He condemned the tactics of the Labour leaders, and felt that Labour could not Win. .He urged the electori) to vota for ■. Liberal, ond not to split tho vote, Ho wa_ accorded » vote of thanks.
