ALBERT E. WELLS.
Established in Newtown twelve- years ago, the business of plumbers and electricians carried on by Mr. A. E. Wells has steadily grown until now it is probably the largest of its kind in the district. Some two years ago it was found necessary to acquire more commodious premises, and the freehold of the present site, 160, Riddiford-street, was purchased. This was followed by the erection of a brick workshop, housing up-to-date machines for the manufacture of the various articles, such as spouting, downpipe, ridging, etc., required in the business. An important extension of' tho business took place this year, when Mr Wells acquired the business of brassfounders and finishers lately carried on by Mr 0 J Barton, Torystreet. A .site for an up-to-date workshop has also been acquired for this business, and with modern machinery patrons can rely upon oislers placed being executed with aceuracyand despatch. At the showroom, .Riddifordstreet, a large stock of plumbing can be inspected, and patrons can rely upon getting full value for orders placed.
