Perhaps no work of any Jfew'__s___* composer ever aroused so much i__*e_i in musical circles as the wefl-known, legend of "Hinemoa," placed in poetic form by Mr. Arthur Adams, and set to music by' Mr. Alfred Hill; And thoSa who remember a performance of it, now a good many years ago, hare not forgotten the beauty of the music, or tie extraordinary savagery of the great war chorus that occurs in the early pact of the work. A performance Of "Hinemoa" is to be given at the Concert Chamber<if the Town Hall next Thursday by Mrs. Ernest H. Qneree and her advanced students.
