DUNEDIN, This Day. Alexander Dippie, aged two and a-half years, son of Mr. Peter Dippie, settler, met his death at Riverside, near Balclutha. His mother missed him for twenty minutes, and found him floating lace downwards in the backwater of the Molyneux, Mr. Dippie's house being near the river bank.
