HYMN BEFORE BATTLE

There was a dramatic incident during a sermon which was being preached recentj ly by Mr. Hugh Edwards, M.P., at Builth Wells, Wales.

Welsh soldiers at the front, said Mr. Edwards, had received orders to attack and during an anxious wait in the darkness they sang "Jesu, Lover of my Soul." It was a very touching experience. A member of the congregation rose and, remarking, "I was there," left the church. The incident created a deep impression, and at the close, of the sermon "Jesu, Lover of my Soul," was sung.
