The Boston correspondent of the New York Times states that Senator Lodge, the Republican leader, has issued a statement that the Senate will pass the Treaty with reservations. "I have always," he says, "advocated peace with Germany, and a League of Nations, but I desire a victorious and honourable peace, and a, League which does not sacrifice America's constitution or "sovereignty."
