U.S. COAL CRISIS
STRIKE-BREAKERS TO BE
PROTECTED

(UNITED TRESS ASSOCIATION—COP-RIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received November 29, 10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, 28th Nov. The Government has decided to seize bituminous coal mines where the owners show no disposition to co-operate in increasing production, and to despatch troops to all areas to protect the miners who decide to act as strike-breakers. Wherever mines are seized the Government will impose a 14 per cent, increase in wages. .
