LODGE MEETINGS
Tile, weekly - session -of ' the Pioneer LpdgerNo. 11, 1.0. G.T., was held at tho Webb-street Methodist Schoolroom. C.T. Sister Dever-ux presided. The District Lodgo Executive paid an official visit to tho Lodge... D.C.T. Bro.- J. Warren was voted to the ohair, and put the respective district; officers in' their official positions. The continuation of the installation, held over from a..:previous mooting, was performed by-tho L. Dep., Bro. Atkinson. Members were requested to be present at the united meeting, and also to inquire personally to: see their names are on the roil. Reports of sick a;nd absent:members wore"'received. Several members spoke concorntog tho good of the Order, and various suggestions were niado in the direction of improvements generally. It was decided^ that the Lodge entertain tho Central Mission Management .. Board three weolis henco. The following contributed items:—Sisters Warron, I. and P. Gray, and Daw6on, and Bro. H. J. Trevithick. Refreshments were. served.
Tho weekly meeting of the Sunbeam Temple was held at the Webb-street Methodist Schoolroom. C.T. Sister D. Teague presided. Visiting members of subordinate Lodges received a very cordial reception. The superintendent announced that three members had secured the same number of candidates during the past quarter, and to avoid an disappointment they would each receive a. prize. The winners are Sistci-s Hughes, and, Blair, and Bro'. L. Geary. The prizes will bo presented at next week's meeting. There aro two prizes oflored during tho present quarter for additional membership—one by theG.S.J'.W.-and onp by the superintendent of tho _ Temple. Members were'-asked to work "diligently to 'secure new.members, and also to retain those already in tho Temple. Items were givon by Sisters Faulstack, - Wolfgang, Sale., Dawson,-and Bro. Gray. Mombers were asked to remember the united practice next Saturday afternoon. Aroh Druid Bro. Braines presided at the last quarterly meeting of the Pride of Brooklyn Lodge, No. 58, U.A.O.D. The visitors includod Bro. R. P. Flanagan (Grand President) aud Bro.. F. Ha-i-lon (District President, No. 2 District). Tho correspondence received . included a letter from Bro. Potter, stating that the Lodgo had won tho Ritual Shield,. and complimenting the officers on the victory. It was decided to pay an official visit to Holly Lodgo on the night of 13th December, on the occasion of its returned soldiers' night. Bro. R. P. Flanagan, G.P., addressed the members on the question of consolidation. Sister Lodges are to bo invited to attend tho next meeting, when the election of officers and presentation of the Ritual Shield will take place. Bro. Harlon, D.P., presented a trophy, which is to bo played/for at- an early date.
