ATTACK ON KOLCHAK
HIS FATE NOT KNOWN.
'LONDON, 19th November. The Bolsheviks, ' using grenades, attempted to blow up Kolchak. Six soldiers were killed and twelve woundeti. What happened to Kolchak is not stated.
Mr. Wilson, special correspondent of The Times, telegraphs that there is great anxiety concerning the safety of Kolchak. He was last seen at Omsk, where he lingered after the withdrawal of the army to the eastward.
WASHINGTON, 22nd Nov,
Kolchak has telegraphed to the Embassy stating that his retreat is merely to rest his exhausted troops, whose morale is excellent.
