WOOL SALES.

The Department of Agriouiture,' Industries, and Commoroe has received tho following cablegram, dated _ 29th October, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:— "Wool Sales: Seventh series Government auctions commenced on 27th _ October; large attendance. Keen competition from Homo and Continental btiyors. "Merince selling at prices folly equal to closing rates last sales. Crossbrods realising 5 per cent, advanoe. Total offering will be 150,COO bales shown wools, and 61,000 to bo sold on description.. 36,000 bales cf the former and 9000 of the latter axe New Zealand."
